Role Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and conducting simulations, utilizing simulation software like Ansys, OpenFOAM, and Fusion360, applying analytical skills, and leveraging mechanical engineering principles. The role is based in Sausalito, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Passionate about solving freshwater availability issues workdwide
Experience with FEA & FSI Autodesk Fusion360, OpenFOAM, and/or Ansys Simulation Software including designing, developing and conducting simulations
Strong Analytical Skills
Background in Mechanical Engineering and Fluid Mechanics
Ability to create and implement simulation models
Ability to reconcile and improve simulations with controlled environment and real life environment prototype results
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
